PRIVACY ON OUR WEBSITE

PRIVACY THROUGH OUR PLATFORM

Edisoft collects Personal Information through its platform as part of its services to its clients to support their B2B and B2C business.

The personal information collected through our platform may include:

1. Business contact information and technical information, such as login information of employees or our clients; and

2. Transaction data from consumers dealing with our clients.

EDISOFT’S USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Edisoft uses the Personal Information collected through website visits to analyze trends and to identify visitors’ businesses interests. Any Personal information recorded by users on its platform is used to deliver its services, such as providing access to users and authenticating their login or supporting transactions.

Edisoft may use the Personal Information collected to advertise Edisoft’s new products and services, tailor our website to visitors’ interests, and to provide marketing based on the interests of its visitors and clients.

If we organize events or seek testimonials, we will only process Personal Information on the basis of consent.

Exceptionally, consumer data of Edisoft’s clients may be stored on our platform by our clients to manage their orders. Edisoft does not use that information.

If you sign-up to receive email marketing communications, we collect your email address as well as other information to help us tailor our communications to you. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the '"unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each email. Please note that you may continue to receive transactional or account-related communications from us.

TRANSFERRING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Edisoft may transfer Personal Information from its website or on its platform to third party software providers (TPT) and other third parties that Edisoft uses to support its business and who are contractually obligated to: (i) keep Personal Information confidential; (ii) use it only for the purposes for which Edisoft discloses it to them; and (iii) to process the Personal Information with the same standards set out in this Data Privacy Policy.

Edisoft may transfer Personal Information to a foreign country, with different privacy laws that may or may not be as comprehensive as Canadian Privacy Laws. In these circumstances, authorities of that country may be able to obtain access to the Personal Information through the laws of the foreign country. If Edisoft receives such a request, it will never grant it without verifying the lawfulness of the request.

Whenever Edisoft engages a service provider, Edisoft requires that its privacy and security standards adhere to this policy and applicable Privacy Laws.

DATA RETENTION

Edisoft does not retain Personal Information beyond the need to facilitate a website visit or to provide its services to its clients.

Upon termination of the agreement, or before at the request of the customer, Edisoft destroys or returns all the Personal Information received through its client, as requested by that client.

Edisoft retains anonymous Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Edisoft's Service, or Edisoft is legally required to retain this data for longer time periods.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

You have the right to request access to your Personal Information that an organization holds about you and have it corrected as necessary. You can request access to the Personal Information that Edisoft has collected about you through its website, by contacting our Privacy Officer at the contact information below.

For any Personal Information put on our platform by one of our business clients, any access request should be directed to that client.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Edisoft serves businesses, not individuals, so its services and website are not directed at minors.
